Refund & Cancellation Policy

This policy applies to application analytics sessions offered by apidevelopmenttools (Analytics Health Audit, Event Taxonomy Workshop, Funnel Readout Session, and Instrumentation Pair Review). It does not cover products, subscriptions, or delivery models we do not offer.

Eligibility

Refunds apply only to fees you have paid us for a confirmed session. Informal inquiries and unpaid waitlist interest are not refundable because no fee was collected.

Timeframe

A full refund of session fees paid (excluding non-refundable deposits described below) is available if you cancel in writing at least 14 days before the first scheduled working day or workshop date. Cancellations received 6–13 days before may receive a 50% refund of fees paid after the deposit. Cancellations within 5 days of the start date are not eligible for a fee refund unless we cancel the engagement.

Deposits

When a session is offered we may request a deposit (typically ₩150,000 for an Analytics Health Audit, or a smaller hold for shorter sessions) to reserve the calendar. Deposits are non-refundable after we confirm the hold in writing, except when we cancel the engagement or cannot provide the scheduled format.

Partial refunds

If illness or a documented emergency prevents completion after work has started, we may offer a partial refund for unused portions or a credit toward a later session, at our discretion after reviewing the circumstances.

Non-refundable items

• Confirmed deposits after the hold is written, except as stated above.
• Workshop materials and report drafting already prepared for your engagement once production has started.
• Completed Funnel Readout Sessions and delivered written summaries.
• Completed Instrumentation Pair Reviews once the live session has occurred.
• Sessions you miss without notice (no-shows) once the reserved slot has begun.

Work already started

If sampling, drafting, or facilitation has begun, refunds are limited to unused future portions only when we agree a partial refund is appropriate. Completed hours and delivered artifacts are non-refundable.

Purchased materials

We do not sell physical retail kits. Any printed worksheets prepared specifically for your workshop are included in the session fee and are non-refundable once printed for your date.

Cancellation by the studio

If we cancel a session, you may choose a full refund of amounts paid for that engagement or a transfer to a later date at no extra fee.

Rescheduling

One free reschedule is allowed if requested at least 7 days before the start and calendar space exists. Later reschedules may be treated as a cancellation under the timeframe rules above.

No-shows

Failure to attend a workshop or pair session without notice forfeits that session. Audit weeks are not automatically extended when access is never granted.

Refund process and timing

Email hello@apidevelopmenttools.digital with your name, session title, scheduled dates, and reason. We confirm eligibility within 5 business days. Approved refunds are returned via the original payment method within 14 business days after approval. Bank fees charged by your institution remain your responsibility when applicable.
